Elizabeth Chambers has finally broken her silence on estranged husband Armie Hammer’s “cannibal” scandal.
Just Jared posted photos on Instagram of “Call Me by Your Name” director Luca Guadagnino with its stars, Timothée Chalamet and Hammer, to announce Guadagnino and Chalamet’s new project — a movie about an actual cannibal.
“Armie Hammer’s director and co-star from ‘Call Me By Your Name’ (Luca Guadagnino and Timothee Chalamet) are teaming up for a … cannibal love story movie. (He’s not involved, just FYI),” the outlet captioned the photos.
Chambers, who has remained mum in the wake of the frenzy surrounding Hammer, expressed her disbelief in the comments section.
“No. Words,” wrote the mother of two, who filed for divorce from Hammer over the summer.
It’s the first time Chambers, 38, has acknowledged 34-year-old Hammer’s scandal, in which he’s accused of sexually abusing women and harboring cannibal-like fetishes.
She has, however, been seen in public, as she judged a cookout in the Cayman Islands.
Hammer’s ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze claimed to Page Six that he used a knife to carve the letter “A” near her vagina and bruise her as a branding method.
“He wanted me to show them off and be proud of them,” she recalled.
Another ex, Courtney Vucekovich, claimed his behavior turned “obsessive” to the point that she feared for her safety.
“He kind of makes it like, ‘I’m going to teach you things.’ I’m smarter than that, but where was I during that? I knew the whole time,” she said. “I had this gut feeling the whole time that this was not right. He’s not well.”
Since the scandal broke, Hammer has dropped out of a rom-com with Jennifer Lopez and his “Godfather” making-of series, “The Offer.”
