Katy Perry says she’s ‘quit shaving’ her legs since becoming a mom

Katy Perry has had to shave down her to-do list since having a child.

On Sunday’s episode of “American Idol,” the 36-year-old “Roar” singer revealed that she’s ditched the razor since giving birth to daughter Daisy Dove with fiancé Orlando Bloom in August.

Perry, a judge on the show, told contestant Cassandra Coleman, “As a new mother I don’t have very much time, so I’ve quit shaving my legs.”

Continued the star, “But when you sang, the hair on my legs grew an inch and a half. Full-body chills! It was amazing.”

She even gave her fellow judges a glimpse of her stubble, stretching her legs out on the table.

It’s not the first time Perry has gotten real about motherhood on “American Idol,” as she previously shocked the other judges by wearing a breastfeeding-friendly dress on the show.

She’s been known to share candid mom moments on social media too, from showing off her Spanx to posing in underwear days after giving birth.

It seems shaving isn’t the only casualty of new motherhood for Perry, as Bloom, 44, revealed in an interview last month that the couple isn’t having “enough” sex since becoming parents.

The pair got engaged in February 2019, and the pop star sparked marriage rumors when she stepped out with a gold band on her left ring finger in March.

While it’s unclear whether couple have already wed, the new parents recently vacationed in Hawaii with Flynn, Bloom’s 10-year-old son with his ex Miranda Kerr, and Daisy Dove.
